Southeast Polk Little League
Thank a volunteer this week! Every part of our league is 100% volunteer run, from sign-up and registration down to field prep and maintenance and we have amazing volunteers that make it all happen. Shout-outs to Steve and Mandy that do a ton of work in Mitchellville, Heather, Rudy, Jason, Andy, and Co in Pleasant Hill, Jack, Josh, Josh, Justin, Frank & Laura and Cody in Runnells, Gary, Tanner, Matt, Justin, Doug, Andy, Joe, Orlando, Steffen and Stephen in Altoona, AND some of our newer board volunteers, Ashley, Chris and Jessica that are planning events like our Home Run Derby! (If I missed anyone I apologize but we still love you!) If you see them around our parks this season thank them for all the work they put in, and ask how you can get involved!

• Please make sure you make every effort to be at picture day, even if you do not want to order pictures as these are the team pictures we give to our sponsors so we want the full team in them if possible. Please try to arrive at least 10 mins early for your pictures so we can keep on schedule as we have A LOT of teams to get through this year.

Pleasant Hill Fields are closed tonight. The AA game that was on PH Field #3 has been moved to Altoona Field #2 for tonight.
I know we have a lot of skilled tradespeople in our Little League family - would anyone be able to help out Saydel Little League? They're moving to the old Highland Park LL next season and need some help getting the concession building up and running.Can you or someone you know help us?!?!? We need a few people that would be willing to help out Saydel Little League Baseball we are a non profit and can provide our 501c3 number for tax write off purposes but we need a few people to inspect some things at the old Highland park concession stand to see what it would take to bring it up to code:![]()

2. Inspection of our septic system![]()

3. Inspect our HVAC system to see what it would take to possibly repair. ![]()
